“Barcelona es bona, con la bolsa sonna, tan si sonna con si no sona, Barcelona siempre es bona.”
Above is a saying, written incorrectly in Spanish, which is supposed to say “Barcelona is fine when the change purse jingles, but no mater whether it jingles, Barcelona is always fine.” (The translation is mine, poor, and based on the incorrect Spanish, but the right sentiment I think.) I got a chance to spend four months in Barcelona in the Spring of 2009, living in a tiny apartment in the Old City near the Arc de Triomf. Eventually I will try to summarize the experience and the travels, but for now I’ll continue to go through my undergraduate portfolio.
