This project is being modeled in Rhino, a computer aided design software capable of sophisticated surface modeling. For this project, everything is simple extrusions to reflect the end construction material. What this type of modeling allows is for testing of design and construction. The design is finalized (for now), and the laser cut pieces are laid out, however some of the connection notches do not line up. So what was intended to be a very simple fabrication and assembly process is now all custom. I will be going back to the design to see if this can be remedied.
